Shane Koyczan at Auckland & Sydney Writers Festivals 2007
Shane Koyczan is going to be a busy boy in 2007. During the end of May and into early June Shane will be south of the equator kicking wicked rhymes at the Auckland Writers & Readers Festival before skipping the pond to the Sydney Writers Festival. We know that Shane will completely rock every show he’s involved with and we await breathless demands for more books after the initial stock becomes quickly depleted.
Here’s a capture of Shane’s bio from the Sydney festival catalog

Shane will be appearing with a series of stellar talents - including Madeleine Thien, Vikram Chandra and the immortal Richard E. Grant.

Kia ora. I am going to the Auckland Writers and Readers Festival - really looking forward to seeing Shane in action in Aotearoa. NZ needs a great poem like his one bout Canada!

He did rock.
He really. Did. Rock.
Honestly, Richard E Grant is great and everything, but then there was Shane.
And the world said yes okay then, well that pretty much settles that.
